Man Accused of Stealing Money From a Boy Scout Troop Enters a Plea

Bangor - A Lincoln man made his first appearance in a Bangor court for theft charges on Thursday.

Timothy Worcester, 44, plead not guilty to theft by unauthorized taking.

TV 5 has learned Worcester embezzled over $8.000 from Boy Scout Troop 50 in Lincoln from January of 2011 until August of 2012.

His bail is set at $5,000 in unsecure bonds and he'll be back in court on April 2nd.

If convicted, he could face the maximum sentence of five years in prison.
