Bangor -
A fund raising event to honor the life-long contributions of canine caregivers will again take place in Bangor.
The second annual Bark for Life is scheduled for Saturday, June 15th.
Dogs and their human companions will once again gather at the Hollywood Casino Raceway to walk the track.
Money raised benefits the American Cancer Society.
Last year's event raised more than 20-thousand dollars, this year's goal has been set at 30-thousand.
The cost to participate is 10-dollars for cancer survivors, 25-dollars for individuals.
The even kicks off at 5:30 p.m. that Saturday and the walking begins at 7 p.m.
