Valentine's Day is almost here and a Bangor bakery is busy baking up a storm!
Frank's Bake Shop felt the Valentine's rush on Wednesday. Employees said they've shaped almost every baked good into a heart for the holiday. Everyone from the bakers, to the decorators, to the cashiers are kept busy.
Some of the most popular items this year are the mini cheesecakes or dipped heart cookies.
Co-owner Theresa Soucy said "A little heart-shaped cheesecake or peanut butter heart with chocolate and the writing "Be my Valentine" up to the large cheesecakes. We have a little bit of everything."
The owner recommends placing your orders as soon as possible, since most items are custom made.
If you'd like to buy something for your sweetheart you can call 947-4594. They will be open until 6pm on Thursday.
