Drug Agents: $450,000 Worth of Bath Salts Seized in Connection with Ongoing Investigation

3

Hampden - Drug agents have made another Bath Salts seizure in connection with a big drug bust last month.

Last week, agents reportedly found more than 6 pounds of Bath Salts inside a package at U.S. Postal Service sorting facility in Hampden. The street value of the drugs is $450,000.

Agents say the package was shipped from China to Leonard Wells in Greenbush.

Wells was arrested for drug trafficking in January, but posted $50,000 cash to get out of jail.

Three other people are still in jail in connection with the January bust.

No one has been charged yet in connection with the most recent seizure.
