A section of Day Road in Brewer was closed Wednesday morning because of a truck fire.
Officials tell us they believe an electrical issue in the truck sparked the fire, causing two hand torches to explode.
Captain Chris Martin with the Brewer Police Department says there was ammunition in the truck that went off.
"There were smaller propane containers such as for handheld little torches as well as a 100 lb propane cylinder. The fire crews were able to remove the 100 lb propane cylinder to prevent that from going off, however the smaller ones, what's being reported right now, in fact did go off during the vehicle fire," explained Martin.
The fire is not suspicious.
We're told no one was in the truck at the time and no one was hurt.
