Last week we told you plans were moving forward to sell the Bangor Daily News building in downtown Bangor to a hotel and resort company. We've now learned those plans have fallen through.
The Bangor Publishing Company, which owns the BDN, signed a purchase and sale agreement with an affiliate of Ocean Properties, but now, the paper's publisher says Ocean Properties couldn't make the numbers work.
Bangor Daily News officials say they will look for other options.
