Owls Head -
An automotive garage in Owls Head was destroyed in a fire earlier Saturday afternoon.
Crews responded to Frankie's Garage just after 3:00 pm.
Fire Chief Frank Ross said there were flames showing from the back of the building when they arrived. He adds the garage had oil drums and pressurized cylinders that exploded during the fire.
Crews from several departments were on scene for about five hours, but no one was injured.
Chief Ross said the fire was likely started by a waste oil heater used to heat the building.
The State Fire Marshal's Office will investigate.
