Maine's utilities report more than 12,000 outages due to the snowstorm blanketing the region, but fewer outages are reported in New Hampshire and Vermont.
As of 6pm Saturday, Bangor Hyrdo reported 337 outages and Central Maine Power said 319 customers are without power. Officials say power should be restored by Saturday night.
In New Hampshire, Public Service reports 246 customers without service, and Green Mountain Power in Vermont reports none.
Meanwhile, Maine's snow total is 29.3 inches at Portland's jetport, and the weather service in New Hampshire says 20.3 inches have fallen. Parts of Vermont have received 10 inches.
