Fairfield Woman in Stable Condition After Collision with Logging Truck

3

Fairfield - A Fairfield woman is in stable condition after colliding with a logging truck on Thursday.

Sgt. Paul St. Amand said Trina Bradford, 35, was pulling out of a parking lot and onto route 201 when she collided with a logging truck.

The driver of the truck, David Fowler, 49, tried to avoid Bradford, but hit the front end of her minivan and she was ejected.

Bradford was taken by lifeflight to Maine General Medical Center Thayer's Campus in Waterville and then transferred to Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Amand said the 35-year-old was not wearing a seat belt and Fowler was not injured.

Police do not believe any charges will be filed.
