The parent company of Hannaford and five other supermarket chains is laying off 350 corporate employees in Maine and two other states.
Delhaize America says it's cutting jobs to cut costs.
Delhaize has more than 1,500 grocery stores.
A company spokesman says most of the layoffs are at corporate offices in Scarborough and Salisbury, North Carolina.
