Richard Curtis, a mechanic at Curtis and Sons, lost his wife's car, expensive tools and equipment, as well as family mementos in the fire.
He didn't have insurance.
A baked bean supper will be held Saturday to help the business recover.
It's from 4:30-7:30 at the Exeter Consolidated School.
Donations will be taken at the door.
