The Black Bears hosting Boston College and wearing pink jerseys! That's because Maine was "Skating Strides for Breast Cancer." It's the seventh time the Black Bears have played in this game.
The women's team has been selling pink pucks to promote this cause. Tonight, after the game, they auctioned off their pink jerseys. All the money raised will go toward breast cancer research and awareness.
By the way, BC won the game 6-3, but that's not nearly as important as what the team did off the ice tonight.
