Pitchers and Sluggers will report to Spring training next month, but players in Brewer got a head start today.
Sluggers, the new indoor baseball and softball training facility, celebrated its opening.
The facility includes video-simulated pitching machines to help improve the kids' skills...
The owner hopes kids learn about more than just pitching.
"Any kid of any age no matter how shy or nervous they're going to find a caring coach that's going to show them," said Sluggers owner Karl Ward. "Parents get to sit right up here where we are right now and watch how their kids learn and blossom, not just learning how to play baseball or softball, but as a person."
