A Yarmouth man is the first Democrat to announce his candidacy for Governor of Maine.
Steve Woods filed paperwork today with the Maine Ethics Commission.
He's been a business leader and has worked in municipal government for thirty years.
He says he plans on spending the next few months touring the state and speaking with folks.
