Lincoln -
A man from Lincoln was indicted Wednesday by the Penobscot County grand jury for embezzling money from a local Boy Scout troop.
Timothy Worcester, 44, is accused of taking more than $8,000 from Troop 50 in Lincoln.
We're told he funneled away money for about a year-and-a-half, starting in 2010.
Worcester is charged with theft by unauthorized taking.
Authorities started looking into the case a few months ago when the Troop Leader reported the money missing.
