The Maine Troop Greeter's mission is to give our armed forces a fond farewell, and deserving welcome home.
Thanks to a generous donation from Bangor’s Sunbury Village, they are able to provide even more for our troops.
The Troop Greeters have been at Bangor International Airport for every incoming and outgoing military flight since 2003.
The retirement community raised $1,159 at a fundraiser last week.
On Tuesday, they presented the troop greeters with that check, just before they welcomed a plane full of appreciative troops.
