Augusta - An Augusta man has been arrested after police say they found more than 100 marijuana plants and other drugs with an estimated street value of more than $10,000 in his small apartment.

Police charged 50-year-old Donald Reid with aggravated marijuana cultivation, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs and two counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.

Reid was held Monday at the Kennebec County jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail.

The Kennebec Journal, reports that officers executing a search warrant Monday found 103 marijuana plants, as well as suboxone strips and four muscle relaxant pills for which Reid had no prescription.
