Brownville Woman Formally Charged for Trying to Hire Man to Kill Husband

3

A Brownville woman accused of trying to hire a man to kill her husband has now been formally charged.

The Piscataquis County Grand Jury indicted 46-year-old Wendy Farley with criminal solicitation.

She was arrested in September after police say she asked a Milo man to shoot her husband in exchange for thousands of dollars.

Farley has 13 kids with her husband. Police say she had been plotting his murder for years.

Farley is expected back in court on Tuesday morning.
