Reward Offered in Case of Damaged Skidders

3

Blue Hill - Money is being offered to figure out who damaged two skidders in Blue Hill.

It happened the weekend of January 12th, and was discovered that Monday.

All four tires on the skidders were drilled flat and it appears the engine may have been tampered with as well.

Damages estimates are upwards of $25,000.

The skidders were about a mile into the woods, on the Getaway Road.

They belong to Ed and Beth Gracie.

They tell us property owners in the area have come up with a $500 reward.

If you have information on the vandalism, please call the Maine Forest Service at 827-1800.
