Holden -
An Ellsworth Police Officer is on administrative leave after being charged with domestic violence assault.
30 year old Andrew Weatherbee was arrested by Holden police after a reported family fight early Sunday morning.
According to Holden police, a disagreement between Weatherbee and a woman led to pushing and shoving and eventually Weatherbee held her on the couch.
We're told she managed to free herself and called 9-1-1.
According to Ellsworth's Police Chief, an internal affairs investigation is underway.
Weatherbee posted bail and will make his first court appearance Thursday, March 14th.
