LePage Teams up with Manufacturing Association for a Job Campaign

3

Augusta - Governor Paul LePage wants Mainers to look for jobs in the technology and manufacturing fields.

LePage will laugh a campaign on Monday to educate students, parents, and the public about modern manufacturing opportunities in the state.

The campaign was developed by the Manufacturers Association, the governor's office, and the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development.

Over 51,000 Mainers are currently in the manufacturing sector.

The association said even more positions go unfilled because applicants are not properly trained.
