Waterville -
A Winslow man has been indicted on a murder charge for the death of a China man last month.
A Kennebec county grand jury handed down an indictment to Matthew Partridge, 30, for the shooting death of Justin Smith, 26.
Partridge is accused of shooting Smith in the face after an altercation outside the "You Know Who's Pub" in Waterville on December 4th.
Prosecutors said Partridge shot Smith after the fight, but Partridge's attorney said he was acting in self-defense.
The 30-year-old is being held on $700,000 bail and will be arraigned on February 12th.
