There's a unique movie going experience that you can only find in Ellsworth.
A live orchestra will provide the score for a screening of Charlie Chaplin's 1925 silent film "Gold Rush".
It’s happening on Saturday at The Grand auditorium, as a kick off to their 75th anniversary celebration.
High School Musicians from The Eastern Maine Pops Orchestra will be playing the 95-minute piece, composed by their own director Rebecca Edmondson.
"These kids have been practicing every Saturday at The Grand, no matter how cold, no matter how snowy," said Zoe Alexis Scott, executive director for The Grand.
"It is very unique. Some of the students have never even seen a silent film and this gives them an opportunity to be immersed," said Rebecca Edmonson, "TEMPOS" conductor.
The event is Saturday at The Grand in downtown Ellsworth.
General admission tickets cost $15 dollars and can be purchased at the door.
