North Anson -
Crews in North Anson battled a fire in the bitter cold late Thursday night.
They were called to a shed fire on Madison Street, around a 11 p.m.
Firefighters from Madison were initially called out, too, but turned back when North Anson crews quickly got it under control.
The Madison fire chief says there was concern the fire might spread to nearby buildings, but it didn't.
The Fire Marshal's office has been called to figure out what started it.
