Washington County has a new chief deputy.
Sheriff Donnie Smith has hired Shawn Donahue for the job.
Donahue is currently the chief of police in Baileyville.
He worked as a deputy for the Washington County Sheriff's Office from 2009 to 2010.
Donahue replaces Michael St. Louis who was fired by Smith earlier this month.
Donahue will start his new job on February 10th.
