Milford School Committe Meet for Time-Sensative Issues

There's a special meeting Tuesday night for the Milford school committee.

The meeting was prompted by a few time-sensitive issues.

Principal James Friel's is scheduled to resign, and an interim will named to replace him.

Also on the agenda, the approval of an overnight trip to Sugarloaf for Special Olympics participants.

Two other matters are to be discussed in executive session.

Public comment is not included on the night's agenda.

Committee Chair Gary Drinkwater says that has been suspended for the foreseeable future, following a contentions meeting on the 18th.

Arrangements have been made for a Penobscot Sheriff's Deputy to be on hand.

The meeting begins at 6:00 at the Dr. Lewis S. Libby School at 13 School Street in Milford.
