Families Create Homemade Snow Globes

3

Bangor - Some families can't get enough the snow.

That's why some of them could be found making snow globes at the Maine Discovery Museum today.

Kids were able to make their own snow globes using clay, figurines, and of course, glitter.

Kim Stewart, who works with Visitor Services at the museum says, "It's a really fun activity because it's one they can do at home afterwards."

Participants will cherish their creations for many years to come. Sisters Sierra and Sydney Grant said they will keep the globes "until they're older". Ryan Robichaud joked that he would keep his for "a thousand years."

The museum has many events planned for this month. To learn more visit the Maine Discovery Museum's website.
