Orono - The pep band was loud and proud tonight, trying to help the Black Bears to an upset.

BU jumping out to an early lead, thanks to their veterans putting the ball in the hoop. Mo Moran drains a corner three. She had 13 in this one. Chantell Alford led the way for the Terriers with 21.

Maine had trouble getting the offense going, but a nice play off the block. It's Danielle Walczak who gets the putback to go. She had nine points on the night.

One of the freshman who's been a bright spot this season is Liz Wood. She takes it to the basket through three defenders. Wood with 14 on the night, leading the way for Maine.

Later in the first half, Courtney Anderson taking it to the elbow and gets it to go with the left hand. But it was not enough as the Black Bears lose to the Terriers tonight, 85-54 the final.
