Jonesport -
Garet Beal is a senior at Jonesport-Beals High School, and was the Gatorade Player of the Year in Maine last season. Beal will head to UMaine next year to play his college ball. Something happened to Garet and his family over the summer that was unexpected: his father passed away. But the standout basketball player told Nick Coit recently that he keeps his Dad with him on and off the court every day.
