Movie goers will have a local option this weekend.
The Center Theatre in Dover-Foxcroft is hosting a Community Film Festival. It will include three films created by Foxcroft Academy students.
The students from the school's filmmaking program are looking forward to showing their work to a bigger audience.
"Our film is kind of like a comedy-type film, so we're definitely all excited. I mean, we all think it's funny, but we have no clue really what other people are going to think," said Donnie Boyer, a senior at Foxcroft Academy.
We're told last year's film festival almost filled the theatre.
This year's is on Saturday, January 19 at 7:00 PM at Dover-Foxcroft's Center Theatre. Donations will be accepted at the door.
