A local Church came together to organize a clean water effort on Sunday.
All Souls Church is planning a mission to bring clean water to rural areas of Honduras. With the help of non-profit organization, Pure Water for the World, the groups plan to provide sustainable water for the country.
The mission not only helps the Hondurans gain access to water, but it also gives them hope.
"It also has a big impact on the people they serve because the people that live in poverty are glad that other people care," said Executive Director of Pure Water for the World Carolyn Meub.
Mission trip leader Spencer Warmuth said, "It's nice to show that as a group of American teens and adults that we care and are able to make a difference."
