Give a meal and get an adventure. That's what Epic Sports in downtown Bangor is offering shoppers.
The sporting goods store is teaming up with local food pantries to help fill their shelves after the holiday season. If you donate a nonperishable food item, you can receive 20% off an item.
Epic Sports Associate, Matt Bishop said "We have people who volunteer at different organizations and have different exposure to a lot of other places outside of the sporting world, we all see the community. Bangor is getting revitalized a bit more and we're trying to do our little part."
The discount is for one item per visit and will continue through the end of January.
