Bangor Pharmacy Robber Will Spend 8 Years in Prison

Bangor - A man accused of robbing a Bangor Walgreens pharmacy was sentenced to eight years in prison for that crime.

Kevin Gray, 30, plead guilty to the December 4th robbery at the pharmacy on Broadway on Friday morning.

He also entered a guilty plea for two burglary charges in Waldo county and various other charges.

Gray said he was heavily involved with drugs at the time of the incident.

Deputy District Attorney, Michael Roberts said “I think it's noteworthy that in the course of the robbery and some of the other thefts, he was actually very apologetic to his victims. He seemed to be very desperate man who hopefully will learn from this and not be back.”

Roberts also hopes this case sets a precedent for the serious crimes involving pharmacy robberies.
