Skowhegan Hockey Knocks Off Hampden On The Road

3

Brewer - One of the nice surprises in Class A hockey so far has been Skowhegan. The Indians starting out the season at 7-0, and they're competing for the top spot in the heal point standings. Skowhegan playing late this afternoon on the road against Hampden.

In the first period, the Broncos strike first. Dylan Cray takes the puck along the end boards and sneaks in a wraparound to put Hampden up 1-0.

But Skowhegan was quick to answer. Just 30 seconds later, Trey Michonski finds Jacob Johnson, who chips it past the goalie, and it trickles in! The Indians go on to win this one tonight, 2-1 the final.
