Bangor -
Most of us are looking forward to finally getting a look inside the new $65 million replacement for the old Bangor Auditorium. On Wednesday, TV5 got the chance to take a tour of the new Cross Insurance Center.
The auditorium seats are in a U-shape, so that every seat in the house will have a view of the stage.
In this auditorium, there are no more wooden bleachers. Cushioned seats are able to slide down when they're needed and fold back into storage when they're not, making room for bigger events on the floor.
"The city has done a fantastic job with the planning and making a building that is flexible to bring in different shows that could not play over at the current auditorium," said Pat Horne, Director of Corporate Partnerships at Global Spectrum.
Up on the balcony level, there are multiple concession stands and bathrooms. But the third floor is where the VIPs hang out. There are a couple of bars, club seats that line the auditorium, and 12 suites, including two party suites.
Outside of the auditorium, the Cross Insurance Center's ballroom is 25%bigger than the current civic center. It's able to fit around 1,600 people and split into seven smaller rooms if needed. There are also 11 smaller conference rooms in the building.
The Cross Insurance Center is on schedule to open in September.

While 75 percent of the planet is a relatively unchanging shade of ocean blue, the remaining surface goes through stages of green.
