The founder of Funtown Splashtown has died.
Kenneth Cormier passed away at a hospital in Celebration, Florida Tuesday, following a brief illness.
A press release says he was surrounded by family.
Cormier started the amusement park in Saco back in 1967.
It's billed as the largest family-themed water and amusement park in Northern New England.
Cormier was 80 years old.
