School Bus and SUV Crash in Dixmont

Update: Two Sent to Hospital After SUV and School Bus Collide in Dixmont

Dixmont - Authorities are on the scene of a crash involving a school bus and a Jeep.

It happened on Western Avenue in Dixmont just after 3pm Monday.

Deputies say no one on the school bus was injured. We're told there were 13 kids and a driver on the bus. The passenger and driver of the Jeep have been taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the Jeep told deputies the sun obscured his or her vision, causing them to crash into the bus.
