Orono -
UMaine hockey playing Mercyherst in front of a small, rather quiet crowd with very few students Saturday in Orono, but they did score first. The puck gets loose out front and Connor Leen slides it home.
Maine dominated play in the period but it ended even at one.
Maine just couldn't get some of their solid chances to go in and it cost them. Leen scored again in the third but Mercyherst took advantage of their chances and won 5-2.
Maine will play at Northeastern next Friday.
