Bar Harbor -
The College of the Atlantic received a nice financial boost, $15,000 worth.
The school is one of three colleges in New England to be awarded a grant from the Environmental Protection Administration.
The grant will help the college continue to explore new ways to turn food waste into liquid fuel or biogas.
They will use the money toward necessary equipment for student research.
