Fairfield -
Town officials in Fairfield have a decision to make about their police chief.
Fairfield's town manager tells us Chief John Emery was placed on paid administrative and medical leave last week.
Town officials aren't saying why, but do say they're preparing to do their own review of the situation.
Town council meets Wednesday night to talk about it in executive session, which is not open to the public.
For now, Detective Sergeant Kingston Paul is the acting chief.
