A man from Windsor has been charged with manslaughter for a crash that killed a woman walking on a sidewalk.
Prosecutors say 24-year-old Joshua Erskine was high on drugs last March when his vehicle hit a parked car in Augusta then went onto the sidewalk and ran down 81-year-old Ruth Epperson.
She died six days later.
Erskine's attorney says the crash was caused by a flat tire.
