Bar Harbor -
A woman from Florida had to be rescued from Cadillac Mountian in Acadia National Park Tuesday morning.
The 9-1-1 call came in around 7:30am.
Supervisory Park Ranger Richard Rechholtz tells TV5 the 19-year-old woman was possibly hypothermic and having heart issues.
Rescuers used a snowmobile to get to her.
Rechholtz says conditions were extremely difficult, with deep snow and wind.
A Lifeflight helicopter took the woman and a male friend to MDI Hospital in Bar Harbor.
Rechholtz says the group was not properly dressed for the conditions.
Rechholtz says 40 to 50 people were at the summit this morning to watch the first sunrise of the new year.
Many of them assisted the woman before help could arrive.
Her condition is not known.
