Bangor -
An Ellsworth man who was reported missing was reportedly involved in a high speed chase Friday afternoon in Bangor.
Police say Jonathan Spinney, 28, hadn't been seen since Christmas Eve morning on Broadway in Bangor.
He was driving his mother's car.
According to his mother, he was in a high speed chase with police on outer Broadway in Bangor Friday afternoon. Police tell us they called off the chase because it was getting too dangerous.
Spinney's mother posted on her Facebook page that her son ditched the car in the Capehart area of Bangor, and ran away.
Police don't know where he is.
TV 5 crews did see police searching the Capehart area Friday afternoon, but police would not say who or what they were looking for.
