State Police, game wardens and other emergency responders have found an 8 and 9-year-old brother and sister reported missing in Ellsworth.
The two were reportedly playing in their yard at their home on Branch Pond Rd. when they wandered into the woods and got lost late Thursday afternoon.
It took crews about an hour and 45 minutes to find the pair.
Crews say the kids were cold and nervous, but otherwise just fine.
Ellsworth Police and Maine Game Wardens used thermal imaging cameras from the Ellsworth Fire Department, as well as search dogs, to look for the children in the dark.
