Another Founding Partner of Cross Insurance Center Named

3

Bangor - Another founding sponsor of the Cross Insurance Center has stepped forward.

Bangor Savings Bank will have its name inside the arena and will get one of the luxury boxes among other benefits.

It's a seven-year deal at a cost of 455-thousand dollars.

Bangor Savings believes the investment is a sound one for the bank, and for Bangor.

Jim Conlon, President and CEO of Bangor Savings Bank said, "I mean the money is certainly material but I think the economic development that spins off of this it translates into more vitality for the city, translates into more vitality for the bank."

"There are still some very active discussions with at least two possibly three other groups so we may end up with as many as six founding partners which would be just fantastic," said Mike Dyer, General Manager Cross Insurance Center. "And again would be indicative and reflective of the support that this community in general is giving this wonderful facility."

Bangor Savings Bank joins the Bangor Daily News, and the city of Brewer as founding partners of the Cross Insurance Center.
