The UMaine women's hockey team hosting Union, trying to avenge last night's loss.
It was a scoreless game through one period. In the second, UMaine with some chances. A slapshot off the loose puck by Brittney Huneke, but she's denied, and it stays 0-0.
Later in the period, the Black Bears with another chance. Captain Chloe Tinkler takes it herself, but she's denied.
A nice day in net for Meghann Treacy getting the start. Kelsey MacSorley and Brittany Dougherty with third period goals, but UMaine falls at the Alfond today, 3-2.
