Skowhegan -
Police are investigating a robbery at the Franklin Savings Bank in Skowhegan.
It was reported at 4:41 P.M. on Thursday night.
The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
He threatened the bank teller, saying an accomplice was waiting in a car with a rifle.
Officers say the suspect fled on foot.
Police with a K9 unit searched a trail behind a nearby VIP Discount Auto Center on Madison Avenue.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 60 years old.
He was wearing dark pants with a black hooded sweatshirt.
He was also wearing an orange hunting cap, with a black knit cap over it, as well as black gloves.
