Bangor -
Sparks will soon be flying at Beal College.
They opened their new welding technology center with a ceremonial ribbon cutting on Tuesday.
The welding program doesn't begin until January, but it's already at full enrollment with 42 incoming students.
The two-year associate's degree program is designed to give students a variety of experience in welding, for a job that educators say is in high demand.
An additional 14 spots will become available for students wishing to enroll for the following semester, beginning on July 1st.
