Bangor -
Bangor City Hall could stay open an extra day this month to give same-sex couples the chance to walk down the aisle as soon as possible.
At a city council workshop Monday night, they will consider keeping the office open Saturday, December 29, the day Maine's same-sex marriage law takes effect.
Last month, Maine, Maryland and Washington became the first states to approve same-sex marriage by popular vote.
The workshop is at 5:30.
