Bangor -
Bangor has been named a top winter destination for 2013.
The travel website, Livablity.com names the Queen City as one of the Top 10 winter destination cities. They're calling it one of America's "Hottest Cold Cities."
While Travel Publisher Lonely Planet also added northern Maine to it's Top 10 listen for travel destinations for the new year for the pine tree state's moose, whitewater rafting, and hiking.
Lonely Planet says Maine is more than just lobster rolls and lighthouses, but it's about exlporing Mount Katahdin, Moosehead Lake, and canoe trips.
